Lochesh
The Legend of Lochesh
The Legend of Lochesh is based on real life events. Lochesh is my black stallion that God gave me after half a lifetime of thanking God every day for him before I even saw him.
There was no way a poor, abused girl should have been able to afford or find such a horse. God brought him to me and has kept him with me through all of life's fires and challenges.
If God can work this miracle for me He can do miracles for you too.
The Legend of Lochesh
Once upon a time there was a little girl who loved God with all of her heart. She also loved horses very much. One day she came to God and asked Him to give her a horse. A beautiful pure black horse that would be her friend when she had no other friends or anyone to love her.
God heard her prayer. He loved this little girl as one of His own children so very much. She was precious to Him. But he knew she wasn’t ready yet to have this horse. She was too young still to handle what she had asked for.
Year after year passed. Every day she got up and thanked Him for her horse, even though she didn’t see it yet. She believed that He had heard her and would give her the desire of her heart as He had promised in his word.
Finally, when He knew she would be ready soon, God fulfilled her request. But not with just any horse. He came and breathed on the horse’s mother so that this horse born would be special. His special servant with an assignment: To protect this girl from all danger until the appointed time when they could serve God together.
So He created Lochesh, king among horses. A special miracle for His special daughter whom He loved so much. Lochesh was born beautiful and strong, powerful and willful so only the one he was sent to protect could handle him. Then, when Lochesh was strong enough to protect the girl, God made a miracle that got Lochesh to the girl.
Over many years and through many dangerous trials, Lochesh protected God’s beloved daughter, as was his duty. No matter what happened or how bad things got for them God would not allow them to be separated by anyone, for whom God joins together no man or demon can separate.
Finally, when it seemed the girl would never be free of the darkness that chased her, God reached down his hand and drove away the darkness. Finally, His beloved Daughter was ready to serve her purpose with Lochesh at her side to protect her.
And they lived happily ever after, serving God in green pastures, and helping others.
